Regional & International Cooperation

HRI earned its excellent recognized performance in the African and Arab Regions through conducting technical consultancy work in cooperation with different institutions in several countries. The Important role played by the Regional Training centre (RTC) of HRI is also seen as an important way of cooperation between Egypt represented by HRI and different Nile basin countries. This cooperation established very strong links between the institute and other organizations, universities and ministries in the basin.

Over the last 30 years, The Hydraulics Research Institute have been jointly cooperating and working with various international institutions in several research and capacity building projects such as:

Due to the various regional and international activities of cooperation conducted by HRI, it is registered as a consultant firm within the DACON system of the World Bank under registration No. HO359, The African Development Bank under registration No. SF/20370EGY and the Islamic Development Bank under registration No. Ho898.
