Our Expertise
The HYDRAULICS RESEARCH INSTITUTE (HRI) is one of the highly specialized institutes in hydraulic studies and water related projects in the region. HRI was established in 1975 to take over and extend the work of the Hydraulic Research Experimental Station founded in 1949. The Institute is one of the oldest institutes in the Middle East and Africa.
In present, HRI is operating in the fields of Water Resources, River Hydraulics and Morphology, Coastal Hydraulics, and Environmental Studies. A brief summary of the projects carried out by HRI since 1985 is here given
